“Attitude can turn to the left our life, or it can do turn our life to the right. Attitude can make our life go forward, or it can do make our life move backward. It’s up to attitude when life breaks down, if we are going to renew it around. It is that tells us to stop and go down, if we think life’s just going round and round.”
“Have you helped when you give cash to the poor? If with it they buy food, you’ve helped for sure; if with it they buy booze, I’m not so sure. They that tell if your alms—poison or cure!”
“If our best friends, sweethearts, or life partners, ditch us for the company of others, why must we curse or do hara-kiri— “if it is we who caused the enmity.” On the other hand, if blame is on them, knowing we’ve done our best in loving them, still why must curse or do hara-kiri— “isn’t love seeing where they are happy?”
“If it’s: “To each his own prosperity,” many shall be consigned to poverty. But if: “To each his own share of duty,” I wonder if poverty there yet be!”
“You’ve got no money because you’re jobless; he has got money although he’s handless. You’ve got no home because you lack success; he has got a home although he’s sightless. You’ve got no food because you’re penniless; he has got food although he’s speechless. Between you and him, what caused unlikeness? “He’s got the will; you’ve got the excuses.”
“Life is full of surprises and satire: “What we expect the least, they that transpire; what we expect the most, they that misfire.” Nothing’s certain: “Sometimes smile, sometimes ire.”
“If you have money, you will have power: “Greater the money, greater the power.” Vice versa, with power you’ll have money: “Greater the power, greater the money.” Power and money are movers of life; without them life is but a spell of gripes. Let’s seek them, not just for the love of self; good for all if, too, for the love to help!”
“If others perceive your deficiency, they’ve got two choices: “Don’t tell, or tell thee.” In case they choose to tell thee, be happy— it’s great food for your personality.”
“A father laments that he lacks money— how it curbs the joy of his family. Then time came that he now has aplenty— how it brings ruin to his family. How vital the “values that money gives”— without them, it’s impossible to live. But don’t forget the “values that God gives”— without them, it is better not to live.”
“Nobody could tell with great certainty, if a said person is blue or chirpy. The certainty rests with the said person— it’s they who could tell their true emotion. For all you know that destitute soul there, sleeping on the sidewalk, clothes a-tatter, may than you with a job be happier, with no worries in life whatsoever.”
“Joy is seeking to love, not be loved back; it’s seeking to give, not be given back. To love and to give, your joy’s in your hands; to expect return, it’s in the balance.”
“Learn to live your life without excuses, they won’t bring any smile to your success; neither can they pay all your expenses, drop them all if you do want happiness. Whenever troubled by a tough hurdle, fight with all the reasons you can gather, rather than turn your back and say goodbye, under the solace of good alibi.”
“When others have more, the selfish are sad; when others have lesser, oh they are glad! When others have more, the selfless are glad; when others have lesser, oh they are sad!”
“They always ask: “Who is God?”—“God is life!” God came not as a religion, but life. They too ask: “Where is God?”—“God is in life!” Where there’s life, there’s God; where there’s God, there’s life. They ask: “Where’s heaven or hell?”—“In our hearts!” Either is there where love or evil starts. They ask: “How to love God?”—“Through our neighbors!” We can’t love God sans loving our neighbors.”
“Thieves and thugs are devils, not enemies: “Don’t love them, tell them to authorities.” Those who dislike you are the enemies: “Love them and you’ve destroyed all enmities.”
“Destination” is the sum of “Actions.” “Actions” are the sum of “Assumptions.” “Assumptions” are the sum of “Dictations” done by “Attitudes”–those mind formations. Let’s thank God for giving us total hold on our joy and happiness in the world through this wonderful gift called “Attitude,” or simply a “Mental View” if you would.”
“Life’s too short that it will make you wonder why we yet fight—not just love each other; why we yet hoard—not just help each other; why we yet own—not just be all sharers.”
